Thales Coffee Table / Solid & Clear Glass

Thales side table series is designed with inspiration from the Ionian mathematician, astronomer and philosopher Thales. Referring to Thales' astronomy studies, 6 pieces of solid wood were placed around the central column to represent the harmony and orbits of the planets and stars. It was Thales who said, "In a circle, the circumscribed angle subtending the diameter is 90 degrees" and that is why the top table of the tripod is in the shape of a circle. Expressing his view that the archaea of ​​the entire world is water, Thales said, "Everything is made of water." For this reason, glass, a material that looks like water, was used on the upper part of the Thales coffee table.

• Tempered transparent glass is used.

• Tempered glass; It is a safe glass that is resistant to impacts and breakage, has high strength and does not pose a danger when broken. The resistance of normal glass is increased by heat treatment with advanced technology. When tempered glass breaks, it breaks into small, non-sharp pieces. Therefore, it does not pose a danger to human health and safety and is safe.

• It is hand-coloured and unpolished, using a water-based preservative that is harmless to the environment and children's health. Since it is a natural tree and each one is unique, there may be different grain images and color differences than seen in the photo.

• The foot of the bench is made of dried beech wood. 

• The coffee table is shipped disassembled. It is easily mounted in place by simply turning the glass table by hand.
